This is how my ‘Start’ button looks like…it’s no more a ’start’ button but it’s a ‘Markish’ button. I’ve done this in Win98 some 4-5 years back. But I had the pain of the hexadecimal editors to change anything in the binary file (i.e the explorer.exe) But now with the availability of the ‘Resource hacker’, it’s quite easy and straight forward.     I came across a utility called ‘Resource Hacker’. It’s not that bad as it name sounds.. It’s a very powerful and very small in size (some 600 kb) utility that will allow you to access the resources associated with any win32 Executables or dlls. So what..? Most of the Win32 Application uses the resource files for the GUI part. Once we have access to them, we can play around with it even when we don’t have the source code of it.. I forgot to mention, the utility is a freeware, you can download it from http://www.angusj.com/resourcehacker/

    We do receive several junk mails in our mail-box daily. No mail providers (gmail, yahoo, our own outlook, hotmail) and none of us are exceptional to it… J I often wondered from where in the world these people keep sending them to me..! I wanted to dig this out..! I found a way as well to locate the culprits..but nothing more I could do..!

At times I’ve felt pain in using the so called ‘Rich-Format Editor’ that is available online… I wanted some easier tool that would allow me to write blogs offline and publish it. Accidently I came across the publishing / blogging capability of MS-word. I’m not sure if this is available in earlier versions previous to 2007. Luckily I use it.

I just wanted to create a self-assesment tool in excel with an easy user-interface. The basic features I wanted are

i. The user should have a list of dimensions and attributes against them to select
ii. He should be able to select the set of attributes, he fits in by just double-clicking on it and get the final score.
iii. As a evaluator, I should be able to add any number of dimensions with any number of attributes against them.
iv. I should also be able to scale the scoring to anything I want.

2, Daddy can not stay with the girls without the presence of the mother
3, Mum cant stay with the boys without the presence of the father
4, The arrested red-hair girl in stripy outfit cannot stay with any of the family members without the Police officer
5, Only the Police officer and the parents can drive the boat across the river

I’ve received lot of Excel / Word documents with a embedded flash in it…Today I received one.. It had a puzzle in it. It’s quite interesting ( atleast to me… ) I thought, I’d put the puzzle in my site. But I wanted to put it as a flash file not as a excel file. I started my search for the way to do it. Here it is….

     Daily we come across so many business opportunities…more than 90% of them may be scams and even a non-pratical model for doing it. When I ’s roaming on the web for a business opportunity…millions of sites were there for online business opportunity…but I wanted something concrete as these business opportunities promised to make me a millionare overnight..!

       I never thought upgrading my Iphone firmware was so easy..! I just kept myself in the version I bought for long time as I never wanted to spent more money on my mobile..! (atleast for sometime now..!) But something happened to me yesterday, I don’t know why I decided to upgrade it..that too myself…
